I don't know how to name this.. but i need help

You will have a problem. You will need Windows 7 64-bit to use that 8GB's of RAM. Windows 7 32-bit can only support 4GB RAM or less. http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/features/64-bit-support and http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/32-bit-and-64-bit-windows#1TC=windows-7

wrong.

No GrimNeo you are wrong.  He asked if his system would work with Windows 7 32 bit OS and I said there would be no problem.  Just because it wouldn't support 8 GB doesn't mean his pc wouldn't work properly.  He just wouldn't be optimizing it.

Yes you will from what i heard win 32 can only use 4 gb of ram

That doesn't mean he can't use Windows 7 32 bit OS.  It doesn't make use of 8 GB of ram but the OS will work.

i really don't know is this right place for this thread..

okay in my new build i will use my old HDD, and on that HDD i have few Games and my OS Windows 7 32bit

New System (Build) will have 8 GB of RAM..

So will it be okay if i connect that old HDD to new Build?

And will i be able to boot up my PC with that OS (Installed)

noo! you need 64 bit windows! otherwise more than a half of your ram wont be usable (aboout 3.5gb usable)

I was right in saying he would have no problem in using Windows 7 32 bit OS with 8 GB of ram.  He didn't ask whether it will make use of 8 GB of ram or not so people stop getting all over what I stated.

Well that's true but it's a shame to waste money but I guess to each his/her own. My friend bought 16GB RAM and was using 32-bit Windows 7. lol. I tried to tell him but some people just don't care until he found out he could not use past 4GB ram.

Repost? You could of just edited your original post.

Edit: I was right and not wrong. OP said "so i will not have problem if 32 bit OS is on 8 GB RAM system" and he will have a problem because he is expecting the full 8GBs of RAM to work with 32-bit Windows 7. Now that is a problem. It's something like 3.5GB of Ram for 32-bit. So I'm right. Anyways why buy 4 or more GB's of RAM for 32-bit Windows 7. That makes no sense and its a waste of money.
