Twitch password reset email verification not working!

Not sure if this is the place to post this:

Hello, I'm having some trouble resetting my twitch password. I did not ask for the reset, when I tried to log in it automatically initiated the reset. They asked for the username to do the password reset so I put it in, asked for them to send the reset email and nothing. I checked the email I thought was my twitch email, inbox, spam folder, trash, etc... and nothing. I thought I might have used another one of my emails, so I checked all of them and nothing. I went on google and found on reddit that you're supposed to email support@Twitch.tv with the subject line "login issues". So I did that with the email that I thought was my twitch email. They replied and asked me to give my ip address, my birth date, my other emails, among other things. it doesn't look like a twitch email to me (it doesn't have a twitch banner on it and it's formatted in a weird way). I want to know if its safe to send my info to them, I heard they just got hacked (I know I probably shouldn't worry about that but you can never be too careful). Also is anyone else having a similar problem? I would love to hear from someone else. Any help is appreciated. Thank you for your time

Twitch was hacked recently, contact their support team if you're having trouble with something. Try it a few times first, though.
