Stock speeds are boring right? I know.

Here are my following specs:

CPU: Intel Core i7-4770k @ 4GHz (Stock Clock)

RAM: 32GB Corsair Dominator 1866MHz

MOBO: ASUS MAXIMUS VI Formula

GPU: GTX 660 Ti

Help me overclock my machine, please <3

Please don't post on this thread if you are going to say "It all depends on the machine, you have to test"

Help me? What would I benefit more from? Overclocking the processor or overclocking the RAM? Gogogogog.

Please PM me your Skype or post a contact below, that way you can help me! :D

Also you are using a 4770k which is socket 1150

The only ram that goes to 3400MHz is DDR4 so no, your ram is slower than that.

To overclock you ram just go into the UEFI and enable XMP

I doubt you'll get any more gaming performance out of your 660 Ti especially with a Haswell already at 4 GHz. Overclocking may shave time off synthetic numbers such as if you do any video rendering or another. Although for the most part you're really not going to notice any overclocking that you do. This is why I leave my 6800k at stock clocks even tho I could push it to 4.8 GHz+ since my HD 5870 already hits its performance wall in games.

I was incorrect, the RAM that I have is 2800MHz full speeds.

yeah just enable XMP and it will run at full speed (as long as the motherboard supports it)
