Old IP.Board Theme disappeared

I just refreshed ltt and the theme changed to the awful "Day Theme" and the old IP.Board theme is no longer there? Do I just have to suffer through this change from now on?

There was a post saying that it was going away a while back.

That sucks. What was the reason for this? I much prefer it over Day and reeeeaally really really prefer it over Night. Seriously hope it's coming back.

You should've used Night theme to begin with, but yeah, it's gonna stay.

 

The new theme still has too strong contrasts. The old colors or shades of grey were absoluteley perfect. Why change them? On my shiny new IPS screen it looks acceptable at best but on my TN, it all just looks horrible and mushy. The old night theme was way better.
