Planning to build a new Desk

so like the title says but what is a good 3d program where i can build a 3d model of the desk?

I have made my own desk too and really a 3d model is cool etc but i'd advice you to make some paper drawings too.

Things like connections etc.

 

And some things I have run into:

 

Also if you are planning on putting power into it to plug your hardware into (instead of running brick from the wall below your desk) add 2 or 4 extra plugs, I did and there already being used .

And think about how you are going to route all your cables some room to work with them is great if you tinker with your setup often.

A simple switch for light or your screen(s) etc is also quite handy just switch all your accessories on or off with 1 switch whilest your pc is still running, you'd be suprised how often you will use it i think.
