Please don't...

Also, what CPU did you order? The stock heatsink should come with thermal paste pre-applied.

Technically - yes. Should you do it - no. If it is only for 1-2 days until your thermal past arrives, I believe it will be fine, just don't overclock or push your system too much.

If your CPU comes with a heatsink it should already have some pre applied, or if you are buying a heatsink it should also come with some. If not, toothpaste would work, but be careful with it.

Just don't replace your CPU until you get some thermal paste in, think how shitty you'll fell if your impatience causes you to burn up the your new CPU.

Absolutely do not use toothpaste on your CPU.

Now if the CPU your getting does not come with a heat sink you will need to get some so do not use your new CPU untill you get some Thermal Paste.

Do you have any type of stores in your area that sells computers or parts for a computer? if you do you should be able to get some Thermal Paste from them..

So please do not use any thing but Thermal Paste on your CPU or you will fry your CPU..

oh my god thermal paste is like $5 from any computer store, just go to your local shop and get some.

It isn't worth destroying your CPU over.

Yes I've come to this conclusion but thanks for replying
