I ran a burn in test a few weeks ago, it got to 65 C. Jeezus

 

 

WOW thats why you cant trust prebuilt

this was actually built by me 2 years ago, didn't realize the stock cooler didn't come with thermal paste.......

nope, haven't touched the cooler, and ive seen that look before, i think its where thermal paste was, Looks like 2 years ago, i removed it and forgot about it, Uh oh

Old AMD chips run very cool compared to todays... My Athlon II x4 630 only hits 50C... :/

but this one is newer, only about 3 YO

it says 2010 on the chip. Last I checked thats 5 years.

did not age well?, Also i have a amd APU from 2006, still running strong, it was running my freenas system for a while

you didn't own a AMD APU from 2006. I can guarantee that. They didn't own graphics IP in 2006 never mind make the hardware.

Not too bad, i guess.

65 is may temp allowed if bios protection is on. It probably throttled itself down.
