Getting into coin mining, some basic questions

Hi!

 

I want to get into coin mining and I have no idea about anything. I only know that you "mine" with your pc and you get e.g. 1 bitcoin. Is that correct?

 

First of all my specs are i5-4440, r9 280 and 8gb ram will that be fine? I don't plan on getting rich with mining but to make like 10eur a months or so, just for fun and new experiences.

 

How do I start with mining? Must I download a program and then just run it? Who will pay me? How will he pay me? Is the country you live in irrelevant?

There are many organizations that use server farms to mine, let alone other types of bitcoin mining operations and better hardware to do so 100x fold better than PC's

You aint gunna get nothing with bitcoin.

Choose another coin. ZiftrCoin for example.

Please don't start mining bitcoins. It will ruin your computer and you will make literally no money. Mine Ziftrcoin or an alt coin without ASICs.

Hi!

 

I want to get into coin mining and I have no idea about anything. I only know that you "mine" with your pc and you get e.g. 1 bitcoin. Is that correct?

 

First of all my specs are i5-4440, r9 280 and 8gb ram will that be fine? I don't plan on getting rich with mining but to make like 10eur a months or so, just for fun and new experiences.

 

How do I start with mining? Must I download a program and then just run it? Who will pay me? How will he pay me? Is the country you live in irrelevant?

Simple: don't mine bitcoins. You need specialized hardware to do any mining; but even with said hardware, it's not even profitable anymore.

 

Here's a better coin to mine: knowledge. Download F@H and/or Boinc, and start "mining" results for scientists to use in their researches, and help you pay / avoid some medical treatments.

You are not going to make -$10 a month.

You are going to be losing hundreds of dollars a month to your power bill that you cant make up from a few dollars you mine. Plus your hardware will fail much faster, which is another few hundred dollars going to waste.

 

You might as well just buy lottery tickets at this point if you enjoy losing that much money for no reason...
