They're not making this game to be about who has the biggest ship. EVE does that already. This is more about the action, smaller battles with skill and tactis and dogfighting. The Idris Corvette is the biggest they've offered so far, and requires a crew of 10 players (though you can hire AI to man turrets)

They have confirmed Frigates, Escort Carriers and Destroyers, but they will be persistent ships and can not land anywhere, so if you log out they are still going to be sitting in the universe open for attack. So you need fleet buddies to help you maintain it.

The biggest ship in the game is the Bengal carrier shown in the pitch video and Squadron 42 video. It will not be purchaseable, the UEE navy has monopoly on it, but it will be possible to find (a) derelict one(s) from exploring uncharted systems, and if you have a really good team of 60-100 players you may be able to steal one. Though that will make you the nemesis of every NPC in the game and probably a lot of players will come for you as well.

A persistent ship would do the trick^^ would like to have something that can support the smaller ships in the game. and still pack enough of a punch to hold it's own in a fight :)

stealing a bengal carrier sounds like an interesting challenge though.

edit: Ps. I dont want the biggest ship because i think it would be a one hit killer or something like that^^

the larger ships are going to be tempting targets for opponents im guessing. wich would give me the chance to draw fire away from the smaller fighters :P

Your not going to one hit anything if your not good at aiming :) and yeah those Space ships you showed look cool.
