you won 8 games in a row conrats it does not mean you have to be ranked up it is based on ELO if it is low you will need to win more. being MVP means jack.

Lol man every time i see a person complaining about their rank, its always a silver player. There isnt a conspiracy against silver players, a lot more goes into how the rank system works than just winning the game and being mvp

The longer you stay in a rank the more dug into it you will be, and the slower your Elo will rise, that's why DMGs stay at DMG for so long, it's working fine.

 

It's not broken, it's just a bad system for the way it's used.

I was stuck at SEM after deranking from GN1 for 9 matches. I topfragged 9 matches and didn't get into GN1. It just happens randomly like some kind of sick RNG because I was deranked tonight from GN1 to SEM and I literally topfragged of a score of 70 and got back GN1 and then I proceeded to lose like 4 games in a row bottomfragging in tough games with a score of 20-40 and I didn't derank. The game makes you feel like its a RNG that determines your rank.

I have like 150 comp wins with 11 wins in a row currently and I am still Silver 2. I don't really care because I play a game to have fun and when GTA V comes out I am completely deleting CSGO. The community has gotten so bad, the servers are so laggy for everyone, and the amount of surfs/hackers has gone way up. Just don't play it if you don't like it simple.
