Evga also did a bullshit thing with the first first launched 900 series on gimped coolers and basically lied about it until the internet had a shit fit.

Needless to say, evga doesn't get my money anymore with business and marketing crap like that, not to mention their model pricing markup is a total fucking joke

It could still conduct heat away via conduction from the other heat pipes like my asus does

It's sealed properly, which means it's a functioning heat pipe
