An iPhone 4 shoots 720p and costs around $50 USD.

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

OP, just don't expect the video to be good by any stretch, even off the nicest flagship phones. Dedicated camera is always better.

The projects never end in my line of work.

No please...don't record with a potato.

High-end smartphones are starting to become pretty good at recording videos and taking photos, but cheap ones are still very very bad.

You'd get a much better solution if you'd just bought a cheap camcorder or something like that, even a digital camera.

i5 4670k @ 4.2GHz (Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo); ASrock Z87 EXTREME4; 8GB Kingston HyperX Beast DDR3 RAM @ 2133MHz; Asus DirectCU GTX 560; Super Flower Golden King 550 Platinum PSU;1TB Seagate Barracuda;Corsair 200r case.
