BLIZZARD Guest Pass?

When buying the Star Craft 2 Battle Chest this saturday I recieved "Guest Passes" for WoW and StarCraft 2. What are these? What is the diffrences between this and the free trial version it comes with.

Honestly, I'm not 100% sure anymore. They have released free versions of the game that gives you access to a whole lot which these guest passes were meant to do.

Somebody will correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure its exactly the same.  It's a free trial with a fancy name.

Hmm, interesting. The Battlechest is recent. The copyright is 2014 and it also included and expert Hearthstone card pack which I enjoyed.
