-snip-

What about a keyboard? And I'd get the H110i GT instead of the H110. Otherwise, it's great!

Oh! And welcome to the forums!

My arsenal: i7-9700k Gaming Rig, an iPhone, and Stupidity.

Thanks! Already have a keyboard. Is the GT worth it for the extra cash?

Get a 4790k and a 212 evo instead of that i5 and watercooling.

4.4 GHZ over 8 threads even if you don't OC it.

Can't really afford the i7 and I don't think it would really be worth it anyway.

I'd say so. It's a newer design, it has the newer, much better fans. And you get the corsair link functionality.

Can you afford this ?

I'd rather go with a core series CPU than a Xeon. Gaming would be my most performance intensive task so I don't think I need one.

That xeon is a locked 4770 with no igpu.

A xeon can game as well as a core cpu , why wouldn't it ? Same architecture and instructions , just binned to withstand longer times on since its a server cpu.

Its a piece of silicon that does math , thats why you need for gaming.

I dont think its wise to handicap you with 4 threads since games NOW are already taking advantage of HT and dx 12 is knocking at the door.
