Sata or Molex on an LED strip ?

we decided to offer all our LED Strips with SATA because we believe it is easier than MOLEX and also motherboards and PSUs these days just have more SATA ports.

Can you explain how it was/is easier? I would have thought the fewer conductors as well as more robust molex connector would have been "easier" (well excluding when one of the pins decides it won't be lining up with the rest of the connector)

System CPU : Ryzen 9 5950 doing whatever PBO lets it. Motherboard : Asus B550 Wifi II RAM 80GB 3600 CL 18 2x 32GB 2x 8GB GPUs Vega 56 & Tesla M40 Corsair 4000D Storage: many and varied small (512GB-1TB) SSD + 5TB WD Green PSU 1000W EVGA GOLD

You can trust me, I'm from the Internet.

well in my opinion it is much easier to use SATA because there are just more ports available on motherboards and PSUs these days - SATA feels more 2016 to me than Molex does. :)
