STAHP MAKING FUN OF ME

They are all compatible but I think you should save a few bucks and get a mid-range or higher-end i3 as they beat the i5 in per-core performance if that's important to you (AKA you just game and web browse).

My account is almost entirely dormant. Hope you all are having a grand time. Many years of fun were had here.

The i5 you chose is fine. I'm just saying that you can save money if all you're going to do is game. If you're going to do multi-threaded stuff like video editing and 3D rendering then the i5 is a better choice. But per-core performance is super important in games and the i3 4370 beats the 4460 at that specific service.

And no, the i3 is in no way "bad..." Not sure where you heard that from.

You are better getting 2x4GB of RAM as it's better. And an i3 would give you a much larger budget. For example: PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Motherboard: Asus H81M-D PLUS Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard  ($44.49 @ Newegg)
Memory: A-Data XPG V2 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 Memory  ($63.99 @ Newegg)
Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 280 3GB Dual-X Video Card  ($159.99 @ Newegg)
Case: NZXT Source 220 ATX Mid Tower Case  ($41.99 @ Micro Center)
Optical Drive: Samsung SH-224DB/BEBE DVD/CD Writer  ($14.98 @ OutletPC)
Total: $538.07

Add a 128 GB SSD in there... makes a big difference.

Lol you know nothing if you think the i3 is bad. It's capable of 1080p gaming easily. KNOWONE NOTICEDTHIS BUT YOUR RAM ISNT SHOWING THE PRICE. YOU HAVE A $500 build and you put a i5..... Omg. Sorry if it sounded rude xD

A better $500 build.

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GYJjgs

Just downgrade some parts. Can't believe no one noticed that your ram wasent showing the price. Get a gtx 750 to or something

Explain why your build is better... I'm seeing more expensive parts, not necessarily better.

You're supposed to use your brain sauce and guess :P

I'm not that good!

Wait doesn't watchdogs require windows to play? I didn't see a copy of Windows on there

Follow the topics you create using the "Follow" button in the top right corner!

One day I will have my GTX 970. One day. PC specs are at my profile.

Not sure how to check what part works with what? Check out my compatibility guide!

Don't tell people to use an illegal service to get content. Pay for your games, or they might not exist.
