I'd look for ifixit tool kits in amazon, and yes it is available in Canada.

The bare necessity for actually building a computer is just a fillips head screwdriver. There are a few things that make it easier. A ratcheting screwdriver helps against over-tightening. A flashlight helps if its a black case. Zip ties and Velcro ties are nice to tidying up wires.

I think that was disproved when we found out that they actually assemble HDDs with magnetic screwdrivers, or something like that.

And they have a huge magnet in them anyway. It only harms floppies and stuff right?
