well my 270x vapor-x's fan is always spinning. But its always at a min of 40%


Try use MSI afterburner then crank up the fan speed to 80% if it spins then you have no prob -i think-

I don't think so... not advertised atleast. I do read more reports of this, at different stages of the fan stopping.

More likely scenario is that the fan is semi-busted and only has enough juice to run at a certain duty-cycle.

I dont see an issue with this, what is the temp with the left fan not spinning?

Wouldnt it be quieter....

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

well, I think we're all shocked that the dual-x has this feature compared to sapphire's flagship cooler (tri-x/ toxic)

and I think its only MSI that has this feature(one fan doesnt spin until it reaches a certain temp)

on some of the newer cards one fan only spins at until certain temps are reached. why would it be so unusual for a custom 270? I think I also read where NO fans spin until the ( a )  card hits 60c. Could be by design. Until someone with the same card gives their opinion........... good advice to contact manufacturer as suggested above.
