r7 260x or 750 ti

hey i have a 450 watts power supply

and 3 ghz i 5.

8 gb ram 

and i have a gt 545 gpu right now 

i wan to know which one i should upgrade to ? and if my psu is good enough to 260x becurse it has a recomended power off 500 watts, but cooler master psu calculator says i would only need 420 watts and other side says 390 watts ?

450W is good enough for a 260X if it's from a reputable brand/has good rating (gold or whatever..)

You could also look into the 270(x), if you PSU is fine and has the right connectors.

 

Hmm.. I would say .. The 260X but would prefer 270.

I'd go with 750Ti, it has lower TDP but perform as well as R7 260X. 260X has better specs though.... If your PSU can still hold 260X, then go with 260X.

you'll be fine btw, I would prefer the 750ti, but have you looked at 270's?

the recommended 500W power is BS, you'd be fine with a 300W PSU. Otherwise the R7 260X and 750 ti trade blows. Get whichever is cheaper.

I'd go with a 270 if you can

cpu: intel core i5 2320 quad core 3 ghz


gpu: nvidia gt 545 144 cuda cores standart clock speed 720 mhz, and memroy speed 800 mhz  i have it overclock to 835 core clock and 840 memroy clock using msi afterburner.


8 gb ram 1333 mhz


psu: liteon ps-6451-5 450 watt power supply


motherborad: unknown 


1 TB hard drive


i dont know if that is a good psu or not 


260x is 130 us dollers


750 ti is 170 us dollers :)

270x is 200 bucks

gtx 960 is 250 bucks.

How much is 265?

I personally would go for r7 260x, it's a great card would play 1080p.

I would say get a new PSU first then upgrade your GPU.

Cooler Master G650M, 650W PSU = 61 bucks on sale  Cooler Master B500 VER.2, 500W PSU = 42 bucks on sale :) 

both is on sale right now its - 34 % on both :) 

usally a psu 600 watts is 80 bucks in my country

The 260x has the edge on the 750ti IMO so pick that up unless the price difference between the 2 cards is more than 10%
