hey guys,

http://www.cnet.com/products/hp-pavilion-a210n-c-2-5-ghz-monitor-none-series/specs/

This is from a really old PC that i use and works fine. I added ram and now it has a gigabyte of ram, if that helps.

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

you need to know the exact model

but yes, some of them support socket 478

edit: if your cpu has pins, then it supports. if not. no

If the CPU is Socket 478 and is supported by the BIOS, then it will work.

That system supports a socket 478 version of the Pentium 4. All other Pentium 4s are not supported. Highest socket Pentium 4, I think was 3 or 3.2GHz with HT. They're was even a Extreme Edition, but I can't remember if that is correct or not. The other thing is the FSB, the maximum FSB for this system is 400MHz, there is not much you can pick from with a 400MHz FSB. Maximum bit supported is only 32bit.

I just got off the phone with dell tech support, it was AWFUL. But they did tell me the socket in which the pentium 4 was from was 478 so it would be supported?
