Is it worth it to switch coolers?

I have a Noctua NH-D15 that i bought not so long ago and it got me thinking whether or not i should sell it because if i did i would be able to get a 240mm water cooling AIO. Would it be worth it to swap this cooler?

I'm pretty sure the performance of the two are similar. Just depends on your taste of form factor.

Not really, I'd say.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

Probably not, the noctua cooler should do the job just fine, and you'll most likely not see much improvement.

Do you need better cooling to achieve higher overclock?

If there isn't a real reason behind it then don't fix what ain't broke  B)

Will you get...better temperatures? Probably not. Quieter system? Probably not. More money in your wallet? Probably not. A happier motherboard because there isn't a NH-D15 cantilevered off of it? Probably.

Unless you plan on moving your PC around often, I don't think it's worth it.
