Is a CX430 enough for an i3-4150 and a GTX 750?

Yes. The i3 isn't really demanding, and 750 basically sips power.

I am thinking about doing a very low-budget build but have a question concerning my psu. I was wondering if a CX430 would be enough for an i3-4150 and a GTX 750 from ASUS, or if I needed a CX500. Thanks!

430 watts will be quite sufficient, but I'd suggest a better quality PSU such as the CSM range which is still within Corsair.

It's just because they are semi-modular, and have a Gold efficiency rating, not sure about how much more it'd be though.

CPU: Intel i7 8700K | CPU Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 3 | RAM: Kingston HyperX 2x8GB | Motherboard: Asus ROG Z370-E | GPU: MSI GTX 970 | HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB & 2TB | SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB & 970 EVO M.2 500GB | Case: Phanteks Enthoo Evolv X | PSU: Silverstone Platinum Strider 1100W | Monitor: AOC i2367Fh | Headphones: ATH-M40X | Mic: Antlion ModMic 4 | Keyboard: Corsair K70 RGB w/ MX Browns | Mouse: Logitech G502 HERO

You can get that running on 300w. I wouldn't recommend that but yes 430 watts is enough.

CX430M...

CX430...

They are both available, and OP said CX430, not CX430M.

Of course we are, we admire to be like Linus and the gang :D

Actually, I don't feel as if it's just Linus anymore, Taran, Luke and now even Brandon are being more prominent in videos, whether that's in LTT, or FAP.

We aspire to be like LMG, that's better.

Yes, much more than enough.

You could run a 970 and that i3 off a 430w psu easily.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W
