Hi guys, I have a quick question about this cpu hsf http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00606OHQQ/?tag=pcpapi-20 being able to successfully cool up to an i5-4690k running at 4.0 ghz in the summertime. And if you can, recommend a better one built the same way (not those huge ones that stand up), thanks

tbh if your gonna go with that, you may as well stick with the stock cooler.

what part of the world are you in? An English summer and an Indian one are very different :P

If you want good cooling, go for a little more and grab something like the infamous Coolermatser 212 evo

@eFlex dont forget to follow your topics too! :)

Bleigh!  Ever hear of AC series?

@eFlex if it has to be a lowprofile cooler the Noctua NH L9i is a good solution or the Cooler Master Geminll M4 or Prolimatech PRO Sam17.

@Superfichtig Will any of these 3 interfere with RAM such as corsair vengence?

it depends on the mainboard you will use, wich one is it?

asrock h81m micro atx

the noctua one is 100% compatible referring to their homepage.

referring to pcpp the cooler master one is also compatible.

the same goes for the prolimatech one.

because they are low profile coolers i dont think you are going to have any issue with your case or gpu.

@eFlex personally i would go with an 120mm aio with some fancy LED at the pump, i think that looks more pleasing than any of the mentioned lp cooler.

@Superfichtig, I was originally thinking about that, but the case I have (Zalman Z3 Plus) dosent seem to have any room to mount one and have it fit comfortably without the hoses bending

oh snap, the i would recommened the noctua one, because one they make great products and two should handle a decent oc given enough airflow in that case.

the bang for the buck solution would be the cooler master geminII M4.

now its up to you to make a decision.
