Kingston SSD

Go to solution Solved by seabass9990,

Oh yeah believe me, I have the 8320 and I got so much crap for that. When I was building me system, everyone was suggesting alternative builds using the i5....very irritating. But I love the 8320, it works really well for me. So you think I should keep it? Do you think it'll make a noticeable difference in windows?

it will make the same difference any other mediocre ssd would, faster boot times and load times for any programs on the drive.

Hey guys, I just got a Kingston 120 GB SSDNow V300. I got it for like 50 bucks. Is it really that bad? I didn't look at the bad review until now because it had overwhelmingly good ones. I'm really just looking to put it into my system as a boot drive and somewhere to put the programs I use most. This is my first build by the way. Thanks guys!

The Wannabe is no longer. Replaced by the Flotilla. If you replace every part of a computer is it still the same computer?

Could have spent ten bucks more and got a proper SSD.

Yes you did overspend, because a WD Black hard drive is not that much slower then a V300 but gives you much more storage for the price.

Yes it's relatively bad compared to other options (if you got one of the ones with the crappy flash), but it's faster than a hard drive at least.

840 Evo/MX100/SP900

Up to you whether or not you want to return it, I would test the speeds first (Crystal Disk Mark) to see if you got a good one or not, if you got a bad one, I'd return it.

RIP in pepperonis m8s
