What is the fastest way to cold boot my PC? Or load a game?

Logun

Just wondering what the fastest setup for storage would currently be that an end user would notice

1) 10x 256GB SSD in RAID0?

2) PCIe SSD? (DC P3700)

3) M.2 solution?

Would an end user even notice a difference between something like (1) and (2) ?

Just curious....

If you can find a pcie drive that's native pcie and not a Sata controller attached to a sandforce controller (one or more in raid0), then that.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

My understanding is that the DC P3700 is native PCIe.

I wonder if you could create a RAID between two of these cards...?

Hey Logun,

I would say the PCIe SSD would be the fastest. Most often RAID0 would boot slower than a single SSD because the RAID needs to be initialized and recognized before the booting sequence is started.
Also the M.2 solution depends on what which slots it is used with.
