Xposed Framework for Android Lollipop is finally here!

TopWargamer

Source: http://www.xda-developers.com/xposed-framework-for-android-lollipop-is-here/

The reason why Xposed wasn't on Lollipop was because Lollipop switched runtimes from Dalvik to exclusively ART, and Xposed wasn't compatible with the ART runtime - until now.

For the time being, the Xposed Framework for Lollipop was to be installed via a custom recovery, but this isn't a big deal. And don't worry, all older versions of Android are still supported in the latest release!

If you have a rooted phone, on Lollipop, and are interested, then you can download Xposed right here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/official-xposed-lollipop-t3030118

For modules to install, go here: http://repo.xposed.info/module-overview

XDA also did a Q&A with the Xposted Framework developer, and highly encourage you all to read through it. The Q&A can be found in the source above.

  • 4 months later...

Can anyone recommend the best modules for this new Lollipop version?

HTC One m7 on 5.0.2 Sense 6.  Obviously don't need to have any modules that just provide duplicates of what I already have by default like changing the notification bar to the color of the app.  Already have the Disable YouTube ads module.  Tried and found out the Remove Data Usage Notification module doesn't work.  Do you know of a module that would allow me to disable only this particular system notification?  (I know there is a toggle in settings already to turn them all off, but I don't want to turn them all off.)

You should be asking this question in a different part of the forum, somewhere like the Mobile Devices or Troubleshooting section.

Oh, I thought people were supposed to search for the stuff they wanted to know about before just creating a new thread willynilly.  This was the only thread I could find that mentioned xposed modules.  Which would be a better thread?
