Rising SSD prices

KirbyTech

I have noticed here in Canada that SSD prices have gone up on average I would say $10-15 in the past couple months. This seems odd since the prices were going down. Has anyone else noticed this or am I crazy?

Not just SSD, take a look at GPU, mine in now 23% more expensive...

Problem is being in Canada, we pay more for the same sh!t...

I am amazed that there aren't companies or services or websites dedicated to people skirting the imports system.  Find people in country X where the item is cheap, have them buy it, and mail it to you.  You pay shipping plus some fee that ends up being less than total price in your country.  Naturally this wouldn't work out for the stuff that is too close in price, but I have seen hardware that is 20-100% more in other countries.  Where shipping would be a small amount of the difference.  Only real issue would be warranty claims.
