Doesn't really look like a legacy build.

Looks like a regular build with a crappy processor and DDR2 RAM

Hey now, it's not crappy. It's still plenty good. Using one RN. Still runs 8.1 like a champ.

Current Rig: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Abit IN9-32MAX nForce 680i board, Galaxy GT610 1GB DDR3 gpu, Cooler Master Mystique 632S Full ATX case, 1 2TB Seagate Barracuda SATA and 1x200gb Maxtor SATA drives, 1 LG SATA DVD drive, Windows 10. All currently runs like shit :D

Legacy would be running Unix on an 80186

LOL but yea that is not old enough to be called legacy (atleast in my terms)

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

I guess I'm trying to say I don't see the point in putting new technology with old.

If it's a legacy build then it should be ALL old parts.

Maybe some people have a different definition of legacy.

What if you manage to get a hold of said legacy parts new in box?

I have packed away somewhere the 387DX-40 coprocessor for my 386 DX-40 in its original packaging and unopened (it was never actually needed).

There's no point in doing a legacy build unless you need/want to run programs that cannot be run on modern hardware. Even then, you could just use DOSBox to run the legacy software on a non-legacy PC.
