I am doing an upgrade tomorrow and going with a red theme since my GPU is in fact red. Thankfully my headset is already red and I have an RGB keyboard. Sadly I have a logitech g502 mouse! I am truly debating getting a corsair M45 to match the build. Am I stupid for thinking that?

It's not stupid. Some would argue that it's a waste but it's your money man.

It's your money and your build. The g502 is a phenomenal mouse but if the colors really matter to you more then do what you think si best.

I'm thinking just buying plasti dip, painting the bottom blue flap red, and simply keeping the light off. Or I'll just throw blue LEDs in the case and hope it doesn't turn purple.

Paint the little blue strip on the side, turn the LED off, problem solved. Or solder a red LED on the board if you're really up to it.

That is what I'm going to do. :)

Maybe you could try a red filter on top of the light.

If you want to stick with the g502, you can plati-dip the blue plastic and turn off or replace the LED. If you want to change, the m45 is ok, but there is also the mionix naos 7000 and logitech g602 to consider.

Yes. If you like modding changing the LED colour is easy (relatively), and the little blue piece of rubber can be either removed or covered in carbon fibre.

Just DIY it, I have the G502 and it's great!

Just open it up and replace the LED with a red one and get a small fine brush and change the blue to red.

Keep in mind your hand is going to cover most of the most anyway...

If it ain't broke, don't fix it, but to keep a color scheme is debatable. If you must, then the M45 is a solid choice, but I myself would recommend a Sabre Optical RGB for the RGB aspect, that's just me.

I still game on a wireless Logitech m510 its not a gaming mouse but tbh it is. Ive had mouses over 100 pounds and returned them for my M510 cant fault it. not many buttons on it but when it comes to mouses I like to keep it simple.  Personal preference and everyone has a different personal preference.
