so 2 of the cards were just sitting there doing nothing?

No, they'd be being used for Cuda acceleration, You can only use 4 of them in SLI, however you can use all of them at once for other things, if you know what I'm saying

So my Question is, how did they get 4 Titan Z´s to work togehter I always thougt you could just sli 2 Cards, because there are already 2 gpu´s per card.

 

Or am I missing something???

You can have more cards on a motherboard via PCI-E risers but you cant SLI/XFire past 4

EDIT: In the case of a TitanZ you cant sli more than two of those cards

Nvidia is to Dr Dre Beets as AMD is to KFC.

One makes you broke, the other you can get more of and have a midnight snack from the fridge when hungry again. Once you go Nvidia, you go broked, turn into an Elitist, or get the incorrect amount of VRAM.

THey can put the bridge there all they want, not more than 4 GPU's will be used in SLI

 

All 8 GPU's can be used however for CUDA acceleration

You can put them in your system, but they won't do anything.

 

Waste of money. I would honestly think they are Titan Blacks before Zs. Otherwise that's ~$6000 on GPUs alone.

You cant game on more than 4 but im pretty sure you can use them for productivity stuff...

 

Now this is true, you can use them in Parallel... but not SLI.
