What do you guys reccomend

So what do you guys recommend for sound recording for personal stuff like game chat and game commentary and that produces sound decent enough for the masses at my high school for when I am forced to do recordings for school I do a school wide lan party and I announce the csgo and minecraft uhc part after I die in both. It can be usb or xlr we have the capability to do both already with out needing to buy a pre-amp or mixer. If it is xlr I can grab an old pre-amp and mixer form the school since they have like 3 that they never use.

Most general recommendation would be AT2020 xlr edition, it's cardiod only however.

 

Blue yeti probably would come out as the most versatile mic for the price. There's also that mic that Jay uses that sounds great
