How do I undervolt this fan adapter?

Cookybiscuit
Go to solution Solved by Enderman,

if you want 5v then you need to move the outside wire (which goes into yellow) and move it to the opposite side so that it goes to red.

if you want 7v you need to move the center wire (which goes to black) and move it to the opposite side so that it goes to red.

I bought one of these off Ebay.

It seems to just run the fans at 12v, and they are a bit louder than I'd like. I've undervolted molex connectors before and its easy, but I don't understand how to do it on this one as theres only two pins?

How would I go about undervolting it to 7v or 5v?

Thanks.

Move the wires from port 2 into port 4. (for 7v)

For 5v, move the wires from port 1 to port 4 (although, keep in mind that not all fans can start up at 5v).
