GTX 970, is it still better than r9 290x?

I forgot to write the word "probably". But still, AMD does let you put different GPUs in CFx, so chances of being able to are good.

I dont think it will be possible to CF their next gen graphics cards with the current ones. The reason AMD lets you crossfire the 7970 and the 280x is because they are basically the same card.
