OBS is by far the best free streaming/video making software I've ever used.

So I am thinking of starting up a troubleshoot thread soon to fix my headset mic problem, since I would like to use what I pay for ..

I want to do a short recording maybe 2-5 minutes and then upload it some where (maybe youtube Idk) and hopefully it will help people see my problem and fix it.

 

What do you guys recommend?

I have an amd graphics card so maybe the amd gaming evolved has a feature like this?

I like Camtasia for game capture actually, but make sure your processor can handle it and you have plenty of space, often with the settings I use it gets to 100gb/hr.

 

Fraps should have that functionality as well.

It records well and handles my setup, I know it isn't the best option, but I have it for work anyway and it looks great.

Bandicam is the most efficient video recording software for gaming, literally no frame drops.

I am won't be recording me gaming though.

I will just record my headset problem.

Yeah but it's more important that I record the visual things than the audio.

I most likely won't be talking (since my mic doesn't work) and they need to see what problem I am having combined with my description of it. 

Understand my problem better and therefor give me better help.

 

But yeah, it's good to know.
