Corsair Dominator Platinum or Vengeance Pro?

Hello all you awesome people.

 

My question is Corsair Dominator Platinums or Vengeance Pro's? Cost isn't a problem when it comes to RAM. I heard that the Vengeance Pro's are tuned for Haswell and Ivy-Bridge. I do care about looks and you have to admit those Dominator Platinums look gorgeous but do the Vengeance Pro's have anything really over the Dominator Platinums.

 

What should I go for and what would you go for?

 

Helpful Information: The system is running Haswell ( 4770K ).

Either one would probably be fine. If you want the looks then go with the platinums

Dominator Platinums are old SKU. Go with the Vengeance Pro unless you are willing to sacrifice performance for aesthetics and hurt your wallet more.

If your gaming, get 1600mhz of whatever looks better for you. If your doing anything where the speed of your ram matters, get some high speed with low cast latency ram.

Vengeance pro. Buy the 1866 MHZ and match the color of your rig.

Why do i always get blue screens? Why not a red one for a change?

The speed of RAM isn't critical unless your do picture editing, video rendering or coding. I under-clocked my RAM to 800Mhz and i do picture editing and i don't get any lag
