do i need a replacement?

Go to solution Solved by Redicat,

Facepalm only 1x PCI 3.0 16x so no SLI supported at all, LOCKED~

So i want to buy a new grapichs card for a 2 way SLI configuration

Asus GTX 760 2GB they say these things run 250WAT at 100% load

So i went and calculate the wattage i should need after that SLI upgrade...

Most sites for calculating tell me 500-550W.

Currently having a Cooler Master G450M (450W) - http://www.coolermaster.com/powersupply/modular-gm-series/g450m/

So this means it might not even run or it runs but there is a chance of a unexpected shutdown :(

I'm sure these calculations are just up the roof (FAT) and it might just run on 450W, if not than i'll have to take my GTX 760 out and replace it with an GTX 970 since i know its gonna run already.

I just dont wanne sell anything for an replacement ._.

First off, I wouldn't recommend SLIing 760s, you'll run into VRAM issues very soon with just 2GB. Secondly, you should have at least a good 550-600W PSU for it.

Well, for one, I don't think your motherboard supports SLI so I think this entire idea is dead in the water unless you swap that out.

You're right, that motherboard only supports Crossfire, not SLI.
