Just been to Headroom audio event in london uk

Did anybody else go or are planning to go tomorrow? I highly enjoyed the day, it was my first time to an event of this type and so i got to listen to a lot of great stuff ive wanted to listen to for a long time. Anyway have some poorly taken pictures of the event.

I would recommend it, i took about two hours in total wandering and listening to various bits and pieces. Could of spent twice as long if i had talked to more of the guys there rather than just listening and running.

I think in the states they got Canjam, and in Asia they got USF (link in my sig), which are official expos of audio brands. Unofficially, there are hobbyist meets, like that headfi meets. Just check your local forums, I'm sure there's at least 1 audio community there. 

 

It's very good to go to these kind of events. It broadens your horizon on products knowledge. It's also a good place to learn things about audio. Just remember to take the info with a grain of salt....
