Sooooo want those. Hopefully someone will make the light respond to the music.

Apparently, they do (to a certain extent). They pulse/throb to the music. Watch the video on the Kickstarter page.

They need to thicken the diameter and form a more rigid cylinder, and create a light saber.

Lighting in computers is almost exclusively meh

Weird guy at my school has "light-up" earphones, a bit like this. Looks absolutely ridiculous.
