Lossless music player

Hey everyone... I am a guy who likes to have his music organize; albums, artists, genres, etc... And what better program than iTunes for that, well at least for my knowledge. Also, it is the only one that allows me to sync music as well as keep a clean and organize library. Though, I am considering into buying a lossless music player as it's a huge difference in comparison to iPhone's;

Now, is there any library program out there that functions just like iTunes allowing me to keep devices synced and organize?

Ha... I'm not buying such device to play it with Apple earbuds. That's of course really stupid. I'm using some Audio Technica ATH-R70x with that player I'm purchasing.

I use Foobar2000 and it sounds amazing, it made me want to listen to all of my music over and over again.

Not sure it can be used on mobile devices and synchronize with them. Its my prefered software on pc.

MediaMonkey is good, though to get the deep organization, retagging and other features you do have to pay a small amount. There is Music Bee as well, which is completely free, but it doesn't seem to be quite as effective at library management as MediaMonkey Gold.

AIMP3 is a good music player/library. A lot simpler than iTunes, and you can't mount any players on it, but I like it for using at events and things. iTunes is too closed-off for me, though I still use it like a hypocrite.

VLC media player did the job for me, its not the tidiest way to manage a library, but I save everything to playlists anyway.

If by mobile you mean phone, then foobar2k and Bittorrent Sync combo could be one. You will need to do some manual work if you like to make playlists on PC as foobar does then with absolute filepaths (like C:\Users\<name>\Music\). But otherwise you can use foobars filemanagement and let Bittorrent do the syncing part.

The components might be worth the money but the walkman is designed to be a portable object. The only way to take advantage of it would be to use some decent headphones or earphones and as they generally come with a high price tag, I doubt people would be willing to go out with them.

 

This is a product that's aimed at a minority of a minority and tbh it's ideas like this which are draining Sony's pockets.
