I don't mind if its safe or not, I want to know if it'd be illegal to download if it's not official

It is probably legal to download, as the publisher (EA) is not selling the game anymore.

It is legal to download this game called "Re-Volt" too, because it's so old.

 

At least I think that is how it goes where I live
