so the last game that EA decided to "EA" was The Sims 4, now i am a hugggeeee sims fan and have been playing since the 2nd game when i was 6 years old. then we all heard the BS that the game had and sure. its not as bad as BF$ but it was bad for us sims players.

so i recently got to play the sims 4 with EA game time. they added the stuff that i hated EA for back into the game. but one major problem was still present. in sims 3 it was an entire open world experience and no loading screens. i can take a game loading for 10 minutes if it means the entire world loads. they minimized load times and now it feels like i play sims 2 with better graphics (and seriously they need better less cartoonish graphics. its a pc game for shits sake) though i did enjoy the experience the nostalgia aspect of the game was present. i think the reason i enjoyed it was because it made me remember all the good times about sims 2, and the fact that you can actually have a tech job in the game.

anyways moral of the story is. should they have put the game to a better open world experience to make it look like a true successor to sims 3. or do you guys not really care about the "sims 2" feel of the game? imean not even a car comes to pick me up for work anymore. i really hate it.

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

I... Never really liked the Sims 3, Open world, was a thing I wasn't too fond of.

But then again I never really enjoyed it to begin with and I haven't played the Sims 4 yet.

its enjoyable for you then. sims 4 is not bad i can bear the non open world. but it was that one innovative feature that you expect to have in the next iteration, its like a ww2 game not having the m1 garand gun.

Let me put that together into what it's coming across as:

"Should games be able to have put the game to a better open world experience to make it look like a true successor to sims 3. or do you guys not really care about the "sims 2" feel of the game?"

I think @aeterna789 meant that the title doesn't make sense :P

But I do agree, I enjoyed the more open-world experience of the sims 3, I miss the car mods haha

I like it too. There's just alot that's wrong with it and alot that should of been changed. Bigger maps for example. Single Player avaliable at launch. The small but picky and annoying things that shouldn't come up, just did.

At least they had a sandbox mode. I have SimCity BuildIt on my tablet and god, i hate waiting, as well as using in game currency. "Freemium games suck. They should have them labeled as "may require purchases to enjoy the fun of the game".

Basically yeah. Saying that... that;s how companies are starting to work. I don't think they realise how much respect and business they lose by doing shit like fremium and micro-transactions.

Roller Coaster Tycoon 4 Mobile was a total flop. You had to buy pretty much everything. At least RCT World is coming to PC later this year. I'm so hyped.

And a feature brought back from RCT 2 and 1: The ability to kill people. The possibilities are endless. And the graphics options better be up to modern standards.

simcity went soooo far back that its not even worth mentioning. a friggin city building game should not have such a small space to work with.
