  2. Yeah, a friend actually told me my gaming room's wall was boring and suggested to get some interesting and/or gaming art work. Well...these were gaming (Jill, Cortana, Jaina) and "interesting" lmao.
  3. Thanks! I'm so glad I took a photo of my 2006 computer to show the cable management of a pre-built back in the day.
  4. Definitely. 2011-2013.
  5. My first 1440p 144hz (can be OCed to 165hz) monitor was the Acer Predator XB271HU. I had a great experience using it for 4 years and only changed because I got an ultrawide. FYI, it's not curved.
  6. 16 years of PC Gaming. From a crappy pre-built bought by my parents, to several years of student income/allowance builds, to (finally) my current working man build. GPU: GeForce FX5200 -> MSI NX8800GT -> Inno3D GTX 275 -> Palit GTX 670 -> Palit GTX 970 -> Palit GTX 1070 -> Galax RTX 3080 CPU: Pentium 4 -> Dual Core-> Quad Core -> i7 920 D0 -> i7 4790k -> i7 8700k RAM: Kingston 512gb DDR2-> Kingston 1gb DDR2-> Kingston 2gb DDR3-> Patriot Viper 6gb? DDR3 -> G.Skill TridentZ 16gb -> G.Skill TridentZ 32gb Case: ??? -> Antec 902 -> Antec 1200 -> Thermaltake Core V71 Cooler: Stock -> Corsair H50 -> NZXT Kraken X52 PSU: ??? -> Corsair HX620W -> Corsair RM650 -> Corsair RM850 Monitor: CRT -> AOC 15.6"? -> Samsung SA300 19" Monitor -> Acer Predator XB271HU -> Acer Predator X34
  7. Nice! Good job on the table and builds too. I assume your pc is the one on the right?
  8. This was what I got (pre-built) from my parents back in 2006 (17 y.o.) lmao.
  9. I did not have this nice of a setup when I was 16. Good job!
  10. Thanks for the suggestions! I'll do step-by-step checking as suggested and will provide an update once either the issue has been resolved or not.
  11. Hi guys, As the title says, I am having difficulty powering up my system. When I press the power button, it can either power on normally or not power up at all. If it doesn't power up, I have to either long-press the power button or press it multiple times before it finally starts up. Note that, once powered up, I experience no issues (i.e. no sudden shutdowns, BSOD, or crashes). System details (full system specs and peripherals on my profile CPU: i7 8700k - stock MOBO: MSI Z370 Gaming Pro Carbon RAM: G.Skill - Trident Z RGB 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4-3200 (XMP Profile enabled) GPU: GALAX RTX 3080 SG (manually OCed but not by much) PSU: Corsair RM650 Gold Plus Modular Power Supply - around 6-7 years old I suspect that it might be either a PSU issue or a power button issue. What do you guys think?
  12. I'm sorry, I should have also mentioned that its an FPS tactical shooter.
  13. Note that Republic Commando, though a great game, is not an RPG. It is a squad based tactical shooter. Like Stockholmes said, Knight's of the Old Republic is also a great game but you may have to mod it for widescreen support. Have fun!
  14. Assuming you have a good cooling solution and enough power headroom left in your PSU, you should try overclocking your 8700K. It's definitely gonna keep your current CPU going for another couple of years.
