Woah man. I can only get so erect.

Wishing leads to ambition and ambition leads to motivation and motivation leads to me building an illegal rocket ship in my backyard.

UPDATE:

960, and kill a watt came in so it is time to do some benching to test some wattage!

Firestrike score!

Look at that IDLE and Max Wattage during firestrike

Idle

Max Wattage

New Cooler

Time for a test fit and lay everything out in the case!

Overall i am getting mega excited for this!!! I just started painting the case as well. Will post pics when im done!

Awesome build! Looks great! :)

Also, not bad firestrike score. My 7950 at stock clocks scores about the same (~5600 to 5800+/-). Have you tried overclocking the 960 yet? With just a +200mhz bump on the core of my 7950 it scores 6600. Curious to see what the 960 can do using so little power (the 7950 probably  pulls more than your whole system, alone, lol :P )

once i see the temps and such after its all in the case i will look into squeezing more power out of it. Firestrike was more to see what kind of wattage i would be looking at while gaming.

Not really related to this build but the GPU Fairy visited me yesterday!

Overclock the hell out of it now!

Oh, and if it's anything like the Windforce 3x cooler, you might wanna change the default fan profile because the fans on my 760 were ramping up far too much by default.

LTT's fastest Valley 970, slowest Valley Basic and Extreme HD scores

that hdplex will be about 15-20% more efficient than your standard psu. I had a atx psu hooked up while I was waiting for my hdplex and during benchmarks I was pulling around 140w ,same clocks same benchmark 121w with the HDplex.

Are you going to be adding cooling fans?

Great looking build. keep it up :)

I wish i could stretch my Nintendo for some more POWER!!!! ( still on the hunt for couple of broken nes's I can join together and make them one)

Well as you see. I am pretty much done. All i have left to do is minor paint touch up and cleaning it up! Benckmarks and full thermals will be coming in my final post. Also may Update the first post to include the whole build once my final post is up. Thank you all for the kind words and support!

I may not be adding a fan. as of right now things are really tight, and although i havent done a full comprehensive test of it,  i have run firestrike and nothing has screamed at me yet to shut it down. Also good to note that what you cant see are the vents under the system where the GPU is and the very small feet i put on it to raise it up so that it can breathe. The vents are ugly as hell so i didnt show them haha.

I will admit, the paint job looked a bit sketchy to me at first, but in these final photos look great. Good job on this.

I would have 3D printed a xbox one case with the IO and GPU bracket cutout already in place for a more neat look, and some custom lenght cables for more tidyness inside

But overall Nicely done!

Let's agree to disagree

Original Power button does not work. Using the sync button on the side of the case.

At least it lights up, did you change the LED for that?

It's not a bug, it's an undocumented feature!
