{Newegg} PNY GTX 780

tobin4

Newegg has the PNY GTX 780 Enthusiast edition GPU for $299.99. This is normally $500.

The specs are:

3gb GDDR5

384 bit

2304 cuda cores

863mhz core clock

6008mhz memory clock

I don't know about the reliability of PNY as a GPU company because I have never used one of there graphics cards, but from the looks of it this seems like it would be a pretty good deal.

At $300 this is pretty bad. At the actual price of $270 it is decent. The 970 is significantly better than the 780, especially after new drivers.

I was just saying $299.99 instead of $270 because I know some people don't use mail in rebates very often. I personally don't like them, but for something that is a couple hundred dollars, I would use it.

Visacheckout coupon still applies. Could make this thing $275 ($245 after rebate). I see this being a niche card, designed for people going for themed builds. Finding a white 900 series card will cost you a small fortune (The Galax HoF 970 is $480 on their website, and i see no other online retailers selling it).

I would personally take the 780 over the 970 at this price, its not that bad of a compromise over a 970.

I posted this yesterday. The price can go down to 244.99 with the rebate and a visa checkout + code.
