So here's the story:

Today I wake up late and stay in bed until 13:30 watching YouTube videos, then after I shower I sit down and play some bf4 while I eat breakfast.

While I'm playing bf4, I get a call from Flordia. I ignore it because I don't know anybody in Flordia (other than my relatives, but their numbers are in my phone). They call again and I pick up the phone expecting that I am about to troll a telemarketer, but instead I hear the guy on the phone asking me if I remember applying for his internship offered to me in one of my General Ed classes earlier this quarter.

Turns out, I did remember drunkenly applying for an internship in my Healthy Living class (I study engineering, so I don't have a good reason to apply into a Health related internship). The guy interviewed me over the phone and concluded the call asking to meet me for an interview.

I honestly have no idea what company I applied to work for.

Then, just an hour ago, I check my email. I apply every year to work in the Navy Research Labs because I know a lot of people that work there, and I have worked there twice before. There are like 4 different Navy Labs that want to hire me, none of which relate at all to my major, Civil Engineering.

Like seriously. WTF. Why is it when I go to the career fare at my school to get a job in Civil Engineering I get shut down immediately but whenever I half-ass another application I somehow luck out. I'm not complaining by any means, but this is almost annoyingly convenient.

TLDR; I woke up this morning with 5 internship offers, one of which is with a company I don't even know the name of because I accidentally drowned out the company name with bf4 c4 explosions.

haha that's a good one! I only wish I could get a civil engineering internship :( robotics and computers are cool but I feel like a bad CE major when I work in the CS or ME labs. the CE people never pay attention to me for some reason.
