wireless vs wired keyboard and mouse.

Igorot_Jay

Ok , I was wondering if there is a big difference between wireless and wired in terms of gaming and does it really make a significant difference between the two in terms of gaming. I have a small pc table and a massive screen so I would prefer to be a little further away, I was just wondering before I buy the peripherals of my pc.

Wired is better IMHO because it doesn't run out of battery. When these devices are low on battery, they have worse signal (in my experience)

Some people argue that wired is more responsive and there is lag on wireless however these days most (imo) can't tell the delay of wireless. The only real advantage of wire (to me) is the fact you never have to charge it, and with wireless, well, its in the name

If you have something like the Logitech G602 or G700 then you will literally never notice. Other wireless mice are pretty bad though and, from my own personal experience, less reliable. Buy some higher-end wireless mice for reliability and all the goodies.

Also, wireless keyboards are only useful if you wear the keyboard on your lap (ahem @thekeemo).
