You should go for the fiio's e10k which is their newer version for $75 but I guess either one is already pretty good. The used e10k at amazon is $65+$9 shipping lol.

But yea, the monoprice would be good too if you are not going portable which seems like you might with your laptop.

What's the difference between the e10 and e10k? Is there any big reason to buy one over the other? And portability wise, I have my laptop hooked up to a second monitor, keyboard, and mouse. I don't move it around often.

The E10k is newer and updated. Not vastly different, though.
