Thoughts on The witcher 3?

Title says it all. Personally I've never played any of the witcher games. But after looking into the third one, it seems quite good. 

 

What are your thoughts or experience with the witcher franchise?

I tried to play witcher two I still have it installed, but I keep FUCKING DYING and I CAN'T STAND IT. Will definitely try witcher 3 tho.  :lol:

If you want to play witcher 2 do it with a controller! playing with keyboard its hard to remember all the keys

I really enjoyed witcher 2 and I'm a huge fan of the series. I can't wait for witcher 3.

I absolutely loved the Witcher (1) I had well over 60 hours into it, and really enjoyed The Witcher 2 although it was a little bit shorter, around 30 hours.

 

I'm hoping The Witcher 3 will be 50+ hours of content, but either way I'm sure I'll love it.

I just bought the Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition from Steam for $2.99 and it is AMAZING! From fighting animations to fine details of the witcher's hair, the game looks great. 

 

One tip about the controls though, I have the razer naga hex. It has 6 side buttons I mapped to macros corresponding to the spells and other side weapons you can use. Very easy to click one button on my mouse that triggers a 2-3 keystroke spell macro rather than having to select your moves on the fly while taking your fingers off wasd.

The reason there is so much hype is because there is hardly ever any good RPG's.

 

Mass Effect, Dragon Age, The Witcher, Risen. Those four game series have been really good, Great story, Great gameplay.

I've tried the first game several time with maybe combined 10-15 hours. The gameplay just could not get me into it. Mostly I didn't like combat.

 

I've played through the second game and I loved it. I kind of want to do a second play through but there are lots of other games to play and I can't be bothered.

 

I'll see how good the third game is on release. Previous games have always released buggy and unoptimized and they patch it later and add lots of extra free content. If the PC version is good then I'll get it on release.

I played Witcher 2 it's a good game got a bit ahead after the first monster fight i decide to add some mods "combat overhaul" something and it turned on god mode  :angry:  Got angry uninstalled and something came up IRL so never got back to play it.Will complete 2 before i go to 3
