Inspiron 630m laptop old xp to linex help

Hi well my old laptop Inspiron 630m laptop needs a new os. I was thinking of linex. my laptop is old by old i mean out dated but i want to install linex. can any one tell me the best linex version to try????????

Elementary OS

Linux Mint.

It's basically Ubuntu, but without the convoluted and resource hungry Unity desktop environment.

If you want something even less demanding, get Mint with XFCE or Xubuntu/Lubuntu. If you want a Linux version that's more suited to people who want to learn about Linux and experiment and mess around with configurations, you could avoid Ubuntu derivatives and go for Debian stable with LXDE.
