Farcry 5 Set In Australia?

After Ubisoft heald a poll leading up to Christmas about where the next Farcry installment should be set Australia had recieved a large amount of votes. Ausgamer wrote this article as to why. www.ausgamers.com/features/read/3493735
Personally i think Australia would be a great location with all its deadly wild life. What do you guys think?

Hopefully it's not full of humour only Australians would understand, whilst I would enjoy that it would be disappointing for a lot of people (That happened with BL: The Presequel as it was developed by an Australian team. According to TB anyway). But yeah that sounds really cool and I hope that they show people that Kangaroos are not friendly.

Our classification board is shit, that is true. However they only refuse classification of games that encourage/involve the player committing acts of sexual violence or drug addiction/consumption (although that last one isn't as big a deal since they let a lot of games through with plenty of drug consumption).

 

However, non-sexual violence and language as well as non violent sexual references or acts are pretty much unrestricted I think.

Well yeah, it's ridiculous. For some reason the classification board believes adults will not be influenced by genocide in a virtual world but will be influenced by drug use..?

 

It doesn't make much sense, but here it is getting better. We finally did get an uncensored L4D2 recently and now our games don't have restrictions on non sexual violence. However it seems a bit unfair that we can have anything but porn on public TV here but not in games...

 

A show like Breaking Bad airs uncensored in the evenings on free TV here.

 

EDIT: With the drug use thing I am not 100% sure what their guidelines are or their interpretation of them. They let Farcry 4 through uncensored and that has a lot of drug use that ends in mass killings...
